Ss the only difference between the Fenix LD12 and the LD12 (S2) Special Edition the extra 5 lumens on high?

Oh yes, the extra 2 on med also.

Is the color temp of the LED's any different?

Not that I'm getting any super secret info that's not already in the pages, but I did notice the SE version has almost 250 more "intensity" than the regular. Possible different reflector? Not an answer, but something to ponder I guess. Not sure exactly how intensity is measured, or if it varies by maker
