Photon, you must be close to my age, 60. I fondly remember the variety shows from the 60's and early 70's which crooners like Andy Williams were such a big part. Those days are too quickly passing us by. He was a part of what I like to remember as the greatest generation!

I was in Junior High (now called "Middle School") when Andy Williams had his variety show, and I would watch it with my Mom and Dad (loved it). My Mom was a hugh fan, and had many of his albums. Every December, she would play his Christmas album (along with others, like Nat King Cole) while she worked around the house. Every time I hear one of his songs, it reminds me of home and a better life. RIP.
