I made for many Thrower and Flood to Throw like TRA, TMA, TMR, FT66 etc...
These are my lastest thrower TG2 and TRE , but They are not the LAST ONE!!!
(Still waiting for Round LED :D)

TG2 spec :
XP-G2 20mm star
67mm aspheric lens
2280mA 6x7138 V2
Power 1x18650 or 1x26650
110,000 - 130,000 lux

TRE spec :
XR-E ez900 20mm Star
67mm aspheric lens
1500mA 3-18V
Power 2xCR123 , 2xR123R , 2x18350
140,000 - 170,000 lux

My concept and why I made them :

Sometime I don't need spill to bother someone, Focus to the target.
67mm aspheric lens is not too small and not too big to hold in hand.
Be easy to swap LED and Driver.

Imagine that G2 with the dome removed. I did that to my XR-E and pushed it beyond what Cree made it to go. After using it for a week, the solder on the wiring to LED has start to slowly melt off due to the draw.

I saw your thread , If you swap aspherics to DX aspherics you will see sweet spot ;)

After I saw this thread, I already swapped over my lens :D I did it a couple days back and the beam is a lot better off. The original one had too wide of a parabola and it didn't do so well.

Luminater I tried to de dome deerelight xre ez900 but I broke it...

I will not de dome again...

How many juice U can get by dedoming xre and put it back in aspheric?

Does it have any improvements at all? We all know that de doming works in reflector but I am not sure for aspheric...

I don't have any measurement but look @ my post with the Crelant XR-C thrower. I ditched the XR-C and went with my de-domed XR-E. Not an ez900 but you'll get the idea.

Dome = Aspherics
De-domed = Reflector

I de-domed SST-50 , SST-90 , XM-L for difference reflector, but not for aspherics.
