I have never used a helmet light in the past, but I ahve used a cap light and a headlamp. Anyway, I am wondering if a Streamlight Strion LED or a Streamlight Strion Flashlight with a Terralux MiniStar SRN Strion LED Upgrade would make a good helmet light with the correct mount? Also, what are some of the better helmets mounts available? This would likely be used with a Troxel helmet for horseback riding at night. I did runa cross the Blackjack Helmet Flashlight Holder, but I don't know enough about this to know if that is a good choice.

I also found this from Surefire http://www.surefire.com/ffm-01.html Would that be suitable for a Streamlight Strion and an equestrian helmet? The website states: "Fits: Flashlights with a 1.0" body diameter." It looks like the Strion is 0.95, so I Assume that is close enough.
