Tired of cr123 and the price for them locally. I have 18650 around but dont really want to mod the housing to much.
I plan on replacing the the star at some point but in the meantime I have 2 16340s coming and was wondering if the stock driver will take the extra V?
What kinda of brightness would an xm-l put out on the stock driver. I want to use it for night riding trails. I am building 2 xml lights at 3.0a each so they should be plenty bright, I just want somthing for my head that has a decent amount of light but have a runtime good enough that I dont feel the need to turn off the lights at every stop.
