Hello,
I am currently running a Surefire KT2 Turbohead on top of a 12V body with an incandescent tower for illumination. The light is a pretty good thrower but compared to many of my newer 6V LED lights it's not as impressive as I think it could be.
I have been hoping to find an LED bulb/tower that would fit into the turbohead and really produce some good light, but have not had much luck so far. Is there anything out there that would work in this application? FYI I have no experience with soldering or doing electronic work so building something from scratch is not realistic.
What I did find was an LED conversion head from TNVC which will work from 3v-12v, but I'd prefer to keep the turbohead in use if possible since I've already got it and I love the look of that big reflector.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd sure appreciate it.
