does an 18650 work on turbo mode?...PD32 HELP!.

hi there everyone , :wave: I have a Fenix PD32 , and just would like to know if the new 'Fenix ARB-L2 18650' rechargeable battery would work on turbo mode, and if it does, would it be as bright as running 2x normal cr123a's ?.

i see one cr123a is 3.0v, so with two, that makes 6.0v.

does this surely mean that there will not be enough power to power the PD32 onto turbo mode as that's what im thinking.
don't want to get an 18650 like that if it wont do everything 2x cr123a's can.

i saw this ad on amazon for some WEISS ones and read this on the ad "

The battery can also be used for almost all lights in which 2 rechargeable batteries of type CR123A / RCR123A are needed.
When using a battery of type 18650 battery life is extended, but it decreased compared to 2 x CR123A brightness due to the lower voltage (3.7 V instead of 6 V). ".

It'll run just fine on turbo with the Fenix 18650.

thanks, but how is that possible?.
the amazon ad states it needs like 6.0v for brighter torches.
the 18650 is only 3.6/7v. how then would that still work then as it would be nowhere near x 2 CR123a's?.

why does the ad say that then?.

Hi Yes, If It had that info.

Im confused that if x 2 CR123a's are needed to power turbo mode at 6.0v, then how the hell can a 18650 at 3.6v do the same.
im no electrician, and just dont wanna waste cash on something that wont be as bright as when i had CR123a's in.

If I had more time I would try and explain it but i don't, I gotta go coach soccer. I can only add that I have a PD32 and it is just as bright with an 18650 as it is with 2xcr123's

Just wanted to add that my PD32 performs the same with x2 CR123 or x1 18650. I prefer 18650, rechargeables are much more $$$ efficient in the long run.

well ok, so out of a Fenix ARB L2, & this WEISS 2600 mAh cell by Sanyo, which one is better to go for?.
...there is even a WEISS 2250mAh panasonic cell. see links!.

if i get an 18650, should i go for then a fenix ARB L2, or these WEISS ones?. the WEISS ones cells are by Sanyo and Panasonic.
