This is the light I've been waiting for. Hope it's out by Christmas!! Being E series it'd have to come in under $100.

Looks like there may be the option to run a single 18650, kinda like the TK30 could with reduced max output and run times on the lower levels.

Like Jash said, it could possiblely work with one battery, otherwise there won't be the ugly black ring in the middle of the body. Just wait for more info.
And I think 780lm are pretty bright in their E series.

Can 5,000K to 6,000K be considered as neutral white?

You can consider it but CREE specify that neutral white is 3700K - 5000K for the current XM-L. Even if it was a cool XM-L U2, at 2A it is only supposed to be around 750 lumens. I think it has to be XM-L2

European price (approx.) 75 EUR, I think HK/US price will be $70-75 or less

WOOHOO!!! That's a reasonable price for a decent XM-L light. However I'd still love a 2x18650 version of the TK41, but not like the TK35 battery configuration. More like the E50/TK30 style, but with the dual switches at the head.

I dont think this is for me (2x18650) but for those worried about tint I want to say if it is anything like my LD40 it is great.
That light just looks pure white compared to neutral ligts that some think look to warm or yellow and it looks neutral compared to cool lights.
Lets call it PW - Perfect White.

Well, now we dont know if the E50 will be like my LD40 but lets hope.

Seems like a decent light.. I'm not moved to buy it.....

But!

I am in love with the look and feel of it. I miss side button lights that can be used as a club. :D

Looks like a nice light, and neutral white is definitely nice, but I kinda wish they came out with a 2C or 2D light.

This one kinda reminds me of a baton :D
