Does any one thing 18700's will fit in the Sunwayman V60C?

I have A Sunwayman V60C on the way.
I ordered batteries for it but I was in a hurry and didn't notice until after I had placed the order that the batteries were 18700's and not 18650's.
I already emailed Going Gear to ask about changing the order but considering they're only 50mm longer than 18650's would it really be a problem if I used them?

Actually the 18700's are nominally 5mm longer, if they were 50mm longer you'd be in deep manure, As it stands protected 18650's just barely fit. I have some protected 18700, and they don't fit in my V60C. So if your 18700's are not protected (not recommended) maybe. They are protected, in my experience they aren't going to fit. I currently use protected Panasonic 18650 3100 mAh cells.

I have XTAR 18700's 2600mAh which measure 69.2mm in length and while it's a tight fit they do in fit in the V60C's battery carrier without any issues. I didn't have these batteries at the time I wrote my V60C review but size-wise, it's the same as the battery carrier for the T60CS and I did take pics of these batteries in the carrier for that review.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Tim

Yes that definitely helps!
I just found some 3400mAh Orbtronic 18650's batteries I'm very seriously thinking about buying.
They measure 68.9 mm long so they should fit fine. :)

They're made by Panasonic so they should be very high quality cells.

Edit: Just ordered four :)

They fit but they're a little tight.
I wouldn't try to use batteries longer than 68.9mm in this flashlight.
