Hi .

I just bought two kits of maglite`s .
Each kit come with the 3D led and the mini maglite .
For $29.99 and the homedepot 50$ off 100$ it was a great deal .

But now that i installed batteries on both the color seems different , where one is white and the other is blue ...
Both seems to use the same LED

Have anyone seen this before ?

I have. I have 3 Maglites, all 2D LED. I bought them at different times from Lowe's on Black Fridays 2010/2011. I emailed Maglite's c/s. I believe they told me it's due to different emitters/bins. I think one is Luxeon while the other is Cree. From my memory, all the packages had the same specs, 114 lumens...

This is what throw me off , they are both cree ( Green 484 led ) and have the serial number following each other ...

Blue light serial : DL303191938
White light serial : DL303191940

Might be a manufacture issue ...
