After several months of non-use the CD player/changer in my Mazda has developed a ticking/rubbing sound as it plays. The music is fine otherwise, except it also now does some skipping in the later tracks. It sounds like things are not in the best alignment. I've tried thumping it and running discs in and out of the changer, but no luck. I can't imagine a "cleaning disc" would do anything. Anyone with similar experiences? Thanks for any ideas.
