A) I'm looking for a Maglite that meets the following requirements:

1) Maglite 4C size
2) Has a socket installed that will accept G4 base bi-pin bulbs
3) Is at least 17 years old (preferably older)
4) Readily accepts 26650 cells
5) Is not bored
6) Has a firm switch, like the "D" Maglites

-UCL or Pyrex lens is a plus
-switch modification for high currents is a definite plus

If you can help, please post photos and a description of what you have, and/or email me at the address in my signature.

Many thanks!

B) I'm also looking for a Lion Borealis with batteries. A "C" Mag with resistance/switch/tailcap mods and 1185 would also work, as long as it has been modded for minimal resistance. If possible, I prefer the older style. To me, the new style "C" Mag switches feel like garbage. The old style Mag "C" lights have switches that feel comparable to their "D" size counterparts.

How about a 5C Mag with resistance mods and bi-pin socket that accepts GY 6.35 bulbs...?

I do have an old (never used in box, without "C" in front of serial number) unbored M*g 4C but does not accept 26XXX cells.
