Hello all,
I am looking for a single 18650 light the same size as my Fenix pd31 but better. Is the eagletac d25lc2 or the fenix pd32 much brighter than the pd31? Is there a better option than all of these? Thank you.

D25LC2: 115x22mm, 49g
JR30: 119x22mm, 75g (this is an 1xAA light!!)
PD32: 127x25.4mm, 61g
PD32UE: 138x24mm, 74g
LD20: 150x21.5mm, 60g

Wow.. it's a long chunky light!! Luv it!

As KJ2 said not much different at all between the PD31 R5 and the PD32 R5 in terms of brightness and runtimes.
The PD31 has a 2-lumen Low that is handy to use at night when you want to keep your night vision. The PD32 S2 version is slightly brighter and the lowest mode has 6 lumen so somewhat closer to the PD31.
The PD32 is a forward clicky while the PD31 has a reverse clicky. However, the PD32 forward clicky can be used on the PD31.

The PD32 UA has an XM-L T6 and is very bright. Bigger and hevier than the previous PD31 and PD32 models.

The EagleTac is also available with XM-L U2 and is both bright and compact.

Out of all the lights, I'd recommend the EagleTac if "brighter" matters to you: more compact and lighter than the PD32, great accessories, and chepaer too.

My personal preference is definitely the Fenix PD31: ended up buying 3 of them and have no regrets. I use two of them with a PD32 forward clicky. Keep in mind the the PD31 has become extremely difficult to find at this stage though.

I have a PD31 and a D25LC2 neutral.
The D25LC2 is noticeably brighter. The throw is about the same for both lights.
If you like low modes, the 2 lumen low on the PD31 is good and the 4 lumen low on the D25LC2 is ok. The PD32 low is not low enough for me. I think it is somewhere around 8 lumens.

The D25LC2 has become my main stay EDC, it's really bright very small for a 18650 light and the XM-L tint is consistently good from everything I've read here on CPF.
