need some help with red-orange LS

I'd like to replace a white LS in an arc LSH with a red-orange LS,
can I do this ? am I going to fry it with just straight swap ?
can it handle the voltage ?, I don't have any idea what bin the LS is...
it's the only one I have so I don't want to kill it.
any input ?

It should be fine as long as you use a thermal epoxy. It will be slightly over driven if my memory serves me.
