can't vote. I'm using more than 1 lube.

  • Krytox GPL203
  • Nyogel 760g
  • SuperLube Synthetic Grease
  • Scuba Silicone Grease with PTFE, Food Grade
  • Victorinox MultiTool Oil, NSF H1
  • Abro SuperRed Lithium Grease

Arrgh! There's more than 1 nyogel? All I can say for now is I use nyogel. Sometimes 3 in1 machine oil when the fit is too tight for comfort (on threads only.)

Never had a problem with Nyogel ... Going to try superlube sometime soon.

Has anyone corroded their o-rings with a Nyogel 760G? Reason I ask is my o-rings in a week-old light seem corroded. Not sure if it's because of the nyogel but it seems to be the only culprit.

I use the Nitecore SG7 silicone grease. Works fine I guess. Some kind of quality oil would probably make a smoother experience. How are the oil compared to grease when talking waterproof?

Superlube. I recently switched to using both their grease and oil on my firearms as well. What I like best is that it is odorless and will stay put and stay wet.

im using the nyogel 779 nice on o rings but really thick for twisty threads, my 25gram tube is almost out after 2 years im gonna try the much cheaper superlube. though teflon silicone oil seems to make everything real smooth not sure about getting it on the o rings though.

Although Super Lube makes a silicone grease, their standard grease is synthetic hydrocarbon oil with PTFE thickeners. Their oils are synthetic hydrocarbon oil with or without PTFE thickeners.

I have been using:
Weasel Fat Silicon O-ring Lubricant
Nyogel 760
Nano oil

Going to try others, but man, that Nyogel tube has enough lube to last me for years.
