I never tried but I don't believe the body can accept 18650.
Approximate runtime based on other past postings:
On 18650, the U2 on high gets about 1.5 hours of nearly constant output, and then a drop; on the lowest, the light gets over 40 hours runtime, with a flat regulation curve
Excellent condition as received. $325 $315 ===> Final price drop to$275 SOLD. I'll keep it if it doesn't sell at this price. This was valued around $400+ in it's prime
Maybe I'll have it modded again to newer emitters or something.
