i saw this for a fenix LD25.

Cree XP-G Neutral White LED (R4)

....i thought neutral light only was available in Cree XM-L

why wasn't the new PD32 T6 then made in XP-G LED then with neutral light?. - would it make any difference?

thanks.

neutral tint emitters have been made for all platforms from Cree for a long time to my knowledge. They are on all their major led platforms from xp-e, xp-g, xm-l, etc.

From what I've heard from some resellers neutral tint emitter lights just don't sell as well (or at least haven't until now) as cool white emitters. I think probably most people just haven't experienced them and with two versions side by side most people probably will just choose the one with slightly higher lumen ratings.

The LD25 is a good light.
About the PD32 I don't know but you get more light out of an XML but the XP-G have better throw.
Take a look at EagleTac D25CL2, I don't have it but thinking about getting one.
Similar to PD32 (or maybe more the PD31) and you can get both XML and XP-G in neutral white

I did a search and found this thread:

It's about a year old so som lights probably not available and new has come but it gives a picture about what is out there.
