Just wanted to show this off...

I got a custom holster made for a preon p1 (my edc light:twothumbs). I have a preon p0 on my keychain so I didn't want to attach the p1 to it too - if I lose my keys how am I gonna find it in the dark?! . The preon 0 is sort of my spare battery tube for the P1/backup light if it fails too.

Anyway, I have too much stuff in my pockets (I'm a wannabe boyscout) and I don't feel safe just leaving the light sitting in my pocket because I've already had my preon slip out and almost go missing .

I searched for a while for a preon sheath, looking for pencil sheaths (roughly the same size), AA battery tube sheaths, etc. Eventually, I was referred to JD at 710 custom sheaths by someone on a subreddit I frequent, and after sending him my preon....heres the pics

I'm really happy with it - I did have to loosen it up with a heat gun though since it was super secure. Now, I can one-handedly withdraw and sheath the preon.

I'm not a big sheath guy, but I like that a lot! Very simple and good looking. Hows the retention on it? If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost and turn around time?

It cost me $27 and that included shipping! I'm actually not a sheath guy either, I normally dislike the style of sheaths you can find.. Which is why I went the custom route

Thats a good deal. I like how it is really out of the way, you can free up pocket space if you are not wearing tactical pants.

thanks for the kind words! I wish I could take credit for the design but JD actually did the entire design . I only wear jeans so I am lacking in pocket space - I hate carrying stuff in my back pockets too.
