Owning SF L4 and occasionally wanting more throw

Hopefully I will get my first Surefire (L4) one of these days, and look forward to it as it is with the floodlight character. But what if I occasionally want more throw and still want to use the L4 tube and clickie. Can I buy an SF incan head/bezel with god throw that will fit the L4 tube, or is it cheaper to just buy another SF light. I know about the TW4 option but unfortunately TW doesn't ship overseas.

The L4 tube is the same as the E2e, but with a different inscription. E2e head will fit L4 body with no problem.

I'm planning on running the L4 with a Pila 168s. Is it then possible to use the E1e head/bulb on the L4, bearing in mind that it is rated to 3V and the Pila is 3.7 V. Has anyone tried this?

Don't use the 3V bulb with the 3.7V li-ion. It WILL flashbulb. Use the E2e bulb, either the MN02 or MN03 with 2X123's.
