Anyone do this? Or am I the only one doing it in my lights?

Sometimes I like small bodies where I can take them with my keys.

I do it all the time.
I use both, depending on what I'm doing with the light.

One of my favorites is the SolarForce L2M running on a single 18350 imr. Usually running a single mode 2 amp XM-l or a 3 amp 3 mode XM-l. Short size and short runtimes.

Since I was taking pictures of my new lights, I can show my new light with the different 18650 and 18350 bodies.
I have others that can do this too, but this is my new one.

1 x 18650, or 2 x 18350

So I'm not the only one. Here's my own rendition of the Eagletac D25LC2. It's a working progress and I plan on making more for kicks and practice.

It's also a great way to hone my skills with the manual lathe.

And here's the whole light:

If you're doing the cutting then you might try an 18500 length and with tube spacers allows 17500's and 14500's to be used. newer 18500's have nearly double the capacity of 18350's.

I am not going to run an 18500 on it as it is not as short as what I intended it to be. The goal for me here is to turn this light into a keychain light and when I do want to run it long for a camping trip or hiking, I'd swap the tubes out and bring extra 18650's. A 18350 tube allows the light to be 3.29inch or 83.7mm tall.

I was satisfied with the outcome of the tube. It has that WOW factor from many people that never seen such a small light but so bright.
