I want to build a thrower out of a surefire 952

Hi can anyone give me some direction for this? I want a green super thrower. My host is a surefire 952 that take p 60 bulbs. I am a machinist and have access to a lathes and mills. LED suggestions and battery suggestions are welcomed!

Erm, get a green LED and a smooth reflector appropriate for that diode, or use an aspheric lens with the LED at its focal point. Get the largest diameter of each you can manage, and ensure good thermal contact from the LED module to the body. Finally, pick a reasonable drive current.

Not many people make a good cyan anymore, but I think Cree makes green XP-Es.

Ok I read some of those threads and dug through my stuff.

I have a surefire p60l and a g&p drop in that looks good as a host for the new led. Now to find a bigger smooth? reflector and head.
