My 4sevens Quark turbo has a off-center LED, so I have decided I want to fix it if possible by taking apart the head and nudging the LED to the center of the plastic piece that's holding it.
The problem is that I don't know how to take the head apart, but I know some people on the forum have done it for LED mods.
So, can anyone tell me where the head screws together, is glued, etc?

Will I need to glue the threads when I put it back together to retain water resistance?

Do be sure to remove dust from the O-rings gently, and lubricate them properly. The glue ensures that the parts do not unscrew during usual use, and serves as a warranty idiot check.

What did you use to get the head apart?

In similar situations I've used 'web wrench' or 'strap wrench.' It's like a rubber strap with a handle. They're great for opening jars, unscrewing pipe without scratching, or taking lights apart. Heat helps unseat the threadlock. I haven't taken my Quark apart though.
