Can't get the retainer ring off my Nitecore MT40. Should i return it?

Hi everyone

How important is it for the capability of the removal of the retainer ring?

Would it bother you if you can't remove it?

Dealer said they can swap it but can't guarantee the swapped one's retainer ring can be removed.

Any advice or experiences? :ironic:
