I have a TerraLUX TLF-3002AA and I have some Trustfire protected 14500's and a charger, and I was just wondering if I could use them in this light? I know the voltage would be higher, but would it work? I am a newbie and I'm just asking before I try anything. Thanks in advance.

Probably not. The light is designed to boost 2AA (3v) to about 3.4v. Giving it 8.4v input will probably damage the driver or the LED. Want to find out which one toasts first?

Not really. I figured I couldn't use them, but just figured I'd ask and find out for sure. Thanks.
