What would you consider the "must have" flashlights for a flashaholic?

I'll start off...

ARC-AAA
Surefire E2e

Absolute "must-have"s?

ARC-AAA
Surefire E2e

I'd say that covers it for the essentials. Everything else is personal preference, but those are the main staples. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

IMHO, E2e is interchangable with the A2 or the L4 in that list.

Or maybe the E2e for an ARC LS?

I don't have one yet but I'd say at least one modded Mini Maglite seems to be standard equipment /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A modded Mini Maglight of some flavor.

On CPF, it seems one must have an ARC AAA and an SF E2e.

For practical purposes, I'd add an LED headlamp and a larger light, like a 9V Surefire or Tigerlight.

Can't do without my Surefire L4. Excellent illumination and color. Then get an incandescent for throw /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I personally carry a TL-3 for when the L4 is insufficient.

Thanks to Lambda I also never leave home without my Nanomate. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For me?

SF M3T - For power, toughness, and portability
SF L4 - For white light power in a compact package
Inova X5T - Sleek and beautiful design, long lasting light.

Another must have but may be too expensive to justify buying is the SF M6. Even if you can afford the light, the battery is gonna kill ya.

arc aaa and e2e

i suppose the aaa could be substituted for an aa, and the e2e could probably be substituted for an l4.

those are the essentials i think. it's also probably the single best edc package there is.

another essential is some sort of small luxeon light. preferably an arc lsh, but a firefly, or stoplight, or something like that will work also.

Musts? For me, right now:

Arc AAA LE
SF L4

I also carry E2e with KL1 for longer running needs and SL TL-3 for long throw, but they're in my bag. The first two (and two spare 123s) are in my pockets.

Cheers,

Richard
