Strange Fenix E11 behavior

Last night I noticed something strange with my silver E11. When I tapped the front edge of the head on a metal table lamp it flashed very quickly. I tried it on the wood table but nothing happened. I tapped it on a glass vase and it flashed every time. Then I tried it on my knuckle fairly hard and nothing. I tried this with my other two E11s, both black, and I couldn't reproduce the glitch.

Has anyone else noticed this with their E11, or any torch?

No not come across that but you can bet your last dollar someone has.

Unscrew the head a little more and it won't happen (I bet...)

EXACTLY... I bought two E11's. One was perfect. The other one I set down on a table one day and the led bulb flickered. I picked it up and tapped the head and it would flicker. The other one had no such problem. I sent it back to Going Gear and they refunded me my money for a defective light. Not supposed to do that.
