I have a P3D that has been a very good light, but the Q2 or so xr-e really needs an update. I got the head apart, and don't have a problem buying something else, but what? If I read it correctly, the xre reflector won't work well for anything else... so where do I find a small reflector or optic? Is there a member or place to buy the loose leds? I would like to go to xpg or xml with low vf to better utilize a 17650.
I think the current led is probably 150ish otf, and current controlled. I would really like to come close to double the output if possible, without turning the light into pure flood. Any ideas?
