Dremel?

I'm looking for a new Dremel, and was wondering if anyone had opinions on which model and where to get it buy it? Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

I have Dremel model #3956, variable 5 speed. I got the kit as a gift a few years ago. Here is a link to Amazon.com's Dremel shop...... Amazon Dremel

Generally, you can find better prices at places like Wally World then Amazon.

Also of interest is Sears brand, which is basically a Dremel. You can find it here.

I like my Dremel, it can be found everywhere and has lots of attachments. It kind of depends on what your going to be doing with it. I got the chainsaw shapener attachment for my chainsaw and it works good enough. I also use it for cutting coils of wire into individual rings (jumprings) for my wife's jewelry making.

There is another German brand which is also highly regarded called Proxxon. I have never used it but it is supposed to very good as well. Proxxon webpage is ..... here.
