Surefire E1B body W/E2DL head and tail?

Does any owner of these lights know If this will work? Got a great deal on a couple E1B's and other surefire NIB. Looking to make a single RCR123 compatible light. Let me know your comments on this setup. I can get all of these parts for a steal so just trying to figure out the LEGO compatibility. Thanks all!

Curious what you found. I don't think it would work on a single 123 as the e2d is a two cell light, right?

You can run an E2DL head and tail on an E1B body with an rcr123 battery(4.2 volts). I've done it several times, makes a nice rig actually. You are correct, an E2DL head won't work on a single CR123.

I just wanted to know if the head and body would all fit. I know i would need a AW16340, thats the whole idea. I have a chance to buy some older NIB surefires at cost and trying to figure out which ones. Thanks Guys.
