What battery is better for NITECORE EC25. I am choosing between Panasonic 3400mAH and Sanyo 2600mAh.
Sanyo 2600mAh has more capacity from 4.2V to 3.6 volts. Panasonic 3400mAH has more capacity from 4.2V to 2.5 Volts.
Does
NITECORE EC25 work between 2.5 V-3.6 V ?

I have received NITECORE EC25, so I can answer my own question. I ran some test and I discharged it to 3.3 Volts and NITECORE EC25 still works.
Panasonic battery is better choice.
Second reason for Panasonic battery is, that the power indicator will blink once every two seconds when power levels reach 50%. It happens when it has about 3.8 Volts and some batteries have much less remaining energy then 50%, but Panasonic battery has plenty of energy bellow 3.8 Volts.
So, Panasonic 3400mAH is a must think for NITECORE EC25.

This light is on my hit list right now. While I believe it will not be quite as bright as my SC600 (very close however) it will have more throw without going overboard, a memory...and for some reason I like the blue indicator light. It`s this or the P25. In either case, I will be ordering the Eagletac 3400 bat to run in my pick.

2-stage switch is amazing, very intuitive. Finally somebody brought "iPhone creativity" to flashlight.
Changing battery is many times faster than on Jetbeam PA40.
Very small con is that EC25 has little more bluish light than my Jetbeam PA40,
it is not important for me, if it is important for you, I think somebody sell natural white version as well.

Looking at the EC4 thread...looks light the flashing light consumes power rather fast...probably best to use lockout mode when the light will just be sitting around unused for a time....

Could someone please measure the EC25 battery compartment internal diameter with a vernier caliper ?

I want to make sure 18650 batteries such as Keeppower 3400mAh (Ø 18.7mm) will fit easily.

Thanks for the help.

To answer my own question:

Nitecore EC25 battery compartment internal diameter: 18.9mm

KeepPower 18650 3400mAh cell (Ø 18.7mm) fits like a glove !
