I don't often need to use them, so I'm probably not the best candidate to provide a REAL LIFE usage scenario for them.

I haven't used that product, but it doesn't strike me as a very good flashlight...
Now there was that time I put some leds in the cast on my left arm... now THAT was a flashlight! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif (pretty darn handy, too... never getting misplaced or anything...)
