Hi
I killed the Led emitter in my Magicshine MJ 808.
I`m pretty sure this is the right emitter to buy links edited by mod... I think the led is a ssc p7

Is there any better performing LED`s to give more light and longer throw. Would like to keep the driver and switch as is if possible. Or am i best of just replacing the star and emitter

Some measuments of the reflector 39mm outer dia, 35,77 inner and 20mm deep.

If you are sure it's just the emitter, it's easiest to just replace it - yes, it's a Seoul SSC P7. Be aware this emitter is discontinued, and comes in a variety of tints and outputs.

It would take some tinkering to replace the LED with something new and likely won't give much more output. I did replace my LED with a Cree XM-L 4000k tint, but it did take tinkering, changed the beam to a more distinct center hotspot, and isn't much, if any, brighter overall. I have not tried further alignments or reflector changes yet. YMMV!

You might also try posting or getting this thread moved to the bike lights area.
