Most of that anodizing will be removed, leaving only the knurling and the grooves blue.

Are the larger grooves big enough to act as anti-roll flats?

I also think it looks superb as is, and removing the anodizing might take something away, other than physically of course.

Freakin' cool regardless!

Everytime I look at your new stuff, I have to place paper towel on the table for my drool.

Matt,

Yes, although that wasn't my design intent. Really handy when you want to photograph it, too. :D

Who's the lucky guy getting this?

This is a spec build and will first be offered for sale to those on my Flashlights for Sale Opt-in List; if it doesn't sell there within a day, then it will be posted for sale on CPF.

BTW, if anyone would like to be on my Opt-In e-mail list, please send me an e-mail asking to be added. My e-mail is in my signature. Thanks.

Good Im on the list. What are you thinking for a light engine? By the way it looks awesome.

Another fantastic light! But alas it's not going home with me. If I only had a light or two to sell! Fred can't we work out a deal where I just send you my paychecks in exchange for future lights and a small spot to sleep on in your workshop. I think this is a case of you can't own just 1 "Photonfanactic" light. But whoever ends up with this light will cherish it just as much as I would. thanks for showing us another masterpiece.

I plan to put a Cree XM-L in the LE, which will be a five-level output driver running at 3.04A.

Yes, the Indigo Flow has been sold.
