My wife very kindly bought me a Nitecore EC25 for my birthday (with some considerable hint dropping  ) To go along with it she bought an Eagletech 18650 (3400 mah).
However it doesn't work.
I charged the Eagletech and it's showing 4.1 V.
I think the issue is likely the reverse polarity protection on the EC25. Looking at the top of the battery the button barely shows above the top of the wrap. Only a fraction of a millimeter shows.
Unfortunately I have no other 18650's so I can't be 100% certain the light actually works. In addition the eagletech is advertised as:
"Button top design The protruded button top design makes it work with any flashlight that incorporates hardware anti-reversed battery polarity protection."
Has anyone tried this battery with an EC25 - or any other Nitecore polarity protected torch?
