will new Nitecore ea4 outthrow my old Fenix TK40 ?.?

I was just about to order the Nitecore ea4 but wondered if it would be anything more than a smaller version of my Fenix TK40.

Both claim a ''throw'' of up to 300 meters but but but ...

It would be a nicer package for camping / hiking.

If anyone can advise I'd appreciate it.

Will it outthrow the fenix tk40? Not likely. I use to own 2 fenix tk40s and now own a ea4w. I really like this light over the tk40 for so many reasons. The ea4 sure can throw a beam for its size. In the real world the lights are probably pretty evenly matched on which one throws further. Its just the ea4 does it with fewer batteries and in a smaller package. Awesome little light!
