Not the first flashlight I have modified but this is my first budget build. Dollar store flashlight and 99 cent emitter and driver. Wanted to use as much of what was already there and this is what I came up with

I like transforming worthless lights into useful ones as well. You just have to know their limitations. Nice job!

Just be careful with these. The cheap plastic doesn't hold well. I dropped one once, and the entire ring where the lens screws onto shattered.
