Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY opened a Dorcy 1AA yet?...without destroying it?? I've got a Star waiting for a new home. I looked at the light last night with a magnifying lens and noticed that when you unscrew the head, it appears to have larger threads from the lens downward. Is it possible that if we removed the lens..that the led assy might unscrew out?? This weekend I get out the tools.
