Living in the UK can for many mean they cannot buy a decent light from a brick and mortar store but I have maintained if you do your homework you can usually do ok.

I have just bought a Fenix PD32 from a boat shop,he did not have the full range but he had the E11 as his cheapest and the LD41 as his dearest and six in between.

I have also found an army surplus shop locally that stocks Klarus.

Both stores are selling at the same price as online retailers.

Happy Days

I bought a high end Petzl headlamp from OutdoorGB because their price was WAY lower than I could get it in the States. Don't know if they support a brick and mortar store though.

Those type of lights are dead easy to buy in brick stores because of the amount of climbing/caving/outdoor stores we have.

You can buy/hire really specialist stuff like this fella.£700 worth.
