Can I buy a pyrodex lens to replace the standard lens in my 6P? If so from where? Is it easy to change?

Thanks,

The original lens is press fit into the bezel, surefire sells replacement lenses that are press fit. unfortunately, the original bezel is not big enough to accomodate a pyrex lens nor does it have threads so that the retaining ring that is used to secure the pyrex lens can be screwed down. your best bet is try to get an M2 bezel, it has pyrex as well as shock protection, and it will just screw onto the 6P body.
Hope this helps

And the bezel isn't as ugly as others because the hex corners are smoothed down a bit.

alan: installing a pyrex lens on the G2 bezel was possible because the oem lexan lens is installed with a nylon retaining ring, and isn't press fit like the aluminium bezels.

john: you will have to buy a black C2 bezel if you want a pyrex lens /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
