Arc LS head with MM+ sandwich

Possibly this should be considered one of those 'stupid' mods, but it works great. I have wanted a souped up Arc, but lacking the ability to make one, I decided to alter one to accept one of Dat2zips sandwiches, namely a high-octane MadMax+ Q3. The old electronics were removed, and a threaded insert was made to position the sandwich. Then the old retaining ring was threaded in on top to lock everything in place. With this setup, it is also possible to raise or lower the LED in relation to the optic, just to see what effect it has. Due to the additional thickness of the sandwich, this setup only works with the 2AA TSP pack, possibly the 123 TSP also but it wouldn't look as good....it just covers the o-ring on the 2AA pack when assembled.
