Hi guys,

I know SKU 57779 and 128269 from DX are quite similar, but since the 57779 is sold out, I'd like to focus on the 128269 driver.
It is supposed to give about 2.5 to 3A. I read that the 57779 gives about 2.7A, but I couldn't find any info on the other driver.
I'd like to mod it to actually put out 3A.
I can see that there are 2 resistors stacked on top of eachother, with the top one reading R270. there's a third resistor next to it that seems to be connected in parallel reading R220. I read that hte 57779 has 3 resistors stacked, so I'm guessing the output is not exactly the same.
I'm thinking of unsoldering the top resistor to see what's beneath it to try and figure out the voltage to calculate the current. Did anyone alreayd figured out what resistors to add to get to about 3A?

or did anyone figure out what chip is used (the 6 pin chip that is scratched out), so we can have a peak in the datasheet?

thanks,
Johan
