XP-G2(R5) ?

I'm wondering what to expect from a XP-G2.

In particular I'm looking at the new Fenix LD12 flashlight.

I have the LD12 S2 (XP-G) model now. Other then a extra 5 lumens on high can I expect the new XP-G2 model to be more white or warmer looking? Or is the LED upgrade all about being brighter?

I have an LD20 with a Q5, I passed on the R5, and swore I'd upgrade with whatever LED followed,
but the S2 wasn't much of an upgrade... and I hate green tints...

So, like you, the G2 update really has my interest peaked.

I ordered a LD12 G2 tonight. Hope to have it by the weekend.
I don't know if I will be able to tell much of a difference between my old S2 and the new G2, but I was going to order a second one anyway and the new G2's just happen to come out so it was good timing.

I really like the shape and size of the LD12. It rides nicely in my left front pocket right next to my wallet and it gets used daily.

You say a green tint? The G2 will be whiter & brighter then the S2 then?

It is not advertised as neutral white, so probably not.
