I love the e-series platform. I have had old Lux-III mods using McGizmo's reflectors McR-20/27/38.
I find the hotspot for McR27 the best compromise, and with the XML or XPG emitters could produce a larger hotspot over the 8-year old TXOJ/TWOK.
* What are the mods (and member-modders) available for the new-style-KL1, KX1/2, E2DL, LX1/2, EB1 heads that would convert the heads from TIR to reflector? Would a cutdown McR-27 (or similar) fit (instead of the more common McR20)? Or are the beam of reflectors overated over the TIR of the current KX/LX/EB1 heads?
I would like to use this head on an e-series body -- hopefully two-stage or two-mod, and for gen-purpose outdoor/indoor light.
I already have a similar Aleph-1 head with the old Lux-III LE; and would like a similar one -- but would be like it to have the stock-SF look.
