Email or call surefire on that one is your best bet.
L1 and old A2 incan are the same AFIK. LX2 and A2L will also work but are cosmetically different.

L1 doesn't have a clicky, it has a two stage momentary.

one of my L1 tailcaps no longer was working on constant high mode.
called surefire, spoke to a rep, 2 days later a new tailcap was in my mailbox.
