I would like to ask the CPF community about their impressions of this type of reflector. I am interested in building a MC-E module for a Malkoff MD2. How do it compare to McR or other types. Strengths and weaknesses?.
Thanks

MC-E and Ledil Boom work well together ... several makers use this exact combo (including Prometheus & ElektroLumens) - great beam :)

Are you in USA? If yes I can send you 2 BOOM-MC-SS and 1 BOOM-MC-M (new, newer used) so you can try for yourself. No charge, PM me your address if you interested.

Angle, SS (or S, same thing I think, spec says S, package says SS) is 20 degree with MC-E per spec, M is 38

Are there any issues with the "doughnut hole" effect with either one of these?. It is my understanding Nailbender uses a XPE textured reflector that is bored out slightly to address this. That is one option.
