Emman's 1000 lumens UltraFire WF-C6S XM-L2 T6

Hi everyone,
I've modded one of my flashlight and when I did a thread about it, people where interested from buying it. So I did this post to see how many piece I should buy to make others flashlight like this and sell them to interested people.

Introducing the smallest 1000 lumen ''burst'' flashlight ever (bit of exaggeration here,) this is the brightest flashlight I've ever done.
Using a UltraFire WF-C6S which is almost as small as a 18650 battery:

(this one is 4 years old used, you will get a new one)

a XM-L T6 led: -->I will now put a XM-L2 T6 instead, it is 20% more efficency! output up to 1052 lumens!!

photo2_zps705faac9.jpg

and the most powerful driver that I found that could fit: KD 3040ma driver.

photo3_zps81880a23.jpg

It wouldn't be this powerful without this IMR16340 NiMn battery capable of delivering continuously 4.4 amps!

The KD driver as many programmable mode:

Runtime is great, you'll get 23 minutes of runtime at high mode, 1h10min at med and 12-13 hours at low mod. (TESTED IN REAL LIFE)
Hi: 3000mA, Med: 1000mA and lo: 50mA

This flashlight is THEORETICALLY 1000 lumens burst (I don't have tool to measure total lumen output,) 1000 lumens because it draw 3000mA at the tail of the flashlight and burst because it last at least 45 seconds. Don't expect 1000 lumen for 23 min, this is impossible! 3000mA last 45 sec then the amperage normally goes down hill, as you see in this graph.

Heat generated from XM-L T6 is pretty high but this flashlight handle it great:

-UltraFire WF-501b XM-l T6 800 lumen rated with 2.5 a driver and a 3100mah panasonic 18650

Re: Emman's 1000 lumens UltraFire WF- C6S

I'm interested, can do an XM-L or L2?.

With that said, if you can do them, I'll take 3 or 4.

Also, "Comparisonpictures!!!" needs a space!

I'm interested in one, do you plan to offer/use the newer XM-L2s?

If not I'll send you the led I want installed.

With that said. ... I'll take one!

How hard is it to access the emitter? Having glow-in-the-dark paint filling the vacancy around the emitter adds bling to the tiny shiner.

Re: Emman's 1000 lumens UltraFire WF- C6S

Only if this allowed 18350....

Yep, this would be a tremendous improvement if an 18350 host could be used. It's not just that the 18350 has about 60% more capacity under a heavy load (I've done some testing), but that it maintains voltage (and therefore current) so much better.

Do you know of any 18350 hosts around this size?

Corrected! thanks!

You're the first person that talk me about the XM-L2 T6.... I see that it's the same emitter as XM-L T6 but only with more efficiency?
Of course I will put XM-L2 !!! This will definitly improve luminosity!

No need to send me one, I'll buy it for you!

It's very easy to access the emitter, you have a great idea to put glow-in-dark-paint. I could do it for you, I have some!

I was going to ask that.
Maybe someone here knows if the torch will accept them.

The UltraFire WF-C6S only accept CR123/16340 battery, that's why it is so small.
If you send me a link to a good 18350 flashlight, I will mod it with a XM-L2 led! Must be a 18350 flashlight that everybody will like because I will be making only one model of 18350 flashlight. Also, make sure I can fit a 17mm driver or this mod won't be possible. I can't guarantee I will be able to do it and holster won't fit anymore...

Add me please
Sent PM!
