Just curious, can a single Cree XM-L T6 torch powered by a single UltraFire CS 18650 3000 mAh 3.7 battery produce 1000 lumens ? If not, what would be a more realistic output ? Thanks in advance

Im a noob so i may be wrong. I believe they are rated at 1040 lumens @ 10w. Led lumens yes. OTF I don't believe it would be possible. Maybe 600-700 lumens OTF.

Depends on the battery I think. At enough amps, it should. Will need to be on copper though.

700 lumens does seem a more accurate figure. There seems to be a few torches for sale out there with inflated lumen outputs !

Some more inflated than others. Seen claims of 1800 lumens from a t6. :shakehead
Around 700 otf sounds better.
If they need to lie to promote their products, i dont buy.
