thankyou not see that one before and yes is similar to what I would like to build, the pic side is easy for me, but the I am trying to find a solution to the heat caused by the voltage drop. A switching reg like he uses seems to solve that, I think

sorry for the crosspost but this is a cool switch-mode charger , I was most interested in the schematic on the Spanish site..
takes a little work to find your way around but I have spent the last week or so just surfing the nett think now I have enough to start a design, I will post more later once i have circuit working a bit
