I know alkalines are about completely discharged at 1V open-circuit and fully charged at 1.5/1.6V, but is the charge level linear in between (i.e. 1.25V = 50%) or is it uneven, LiIon-style? Is there a graph?

What about carbon-zincs?

Hello Fallingwater,

The discharge characteristics of primary cells is more linear, but not quite totally linear.

You may find this thread informative.
