Surefire L1 Question

Greetings fellow photon fiends!

I have one of the last models of L1 released (6th gen?), the 10/65 lumen version and a red LED L1 (5th gen?) that is about an inch longer in body length. Can I swap the heads?

Surefire just confirmed it;

Yes you can swap the LED heads between both versions of the L1 Lumamax. The internal power module in the bodies are the same, so there would not be any real difference. The light output is dependent on the LED head itself.
